How it represents everything in Regina’s entire life?

Being trapped by the cycle of abuse, being trapped by her mother in a marriage to a not nice man, being trapped by her own desire for vengeance? 

Like Regina never left the stable. We saw her in 1x18 kissing her ring. It’s forty years later and she still hasn’t moved on at all, she’s still trapped in that stable with Daniel’s lifeless body.
